HTML Universal Interface

I) Introduction

With our HTML universal interface, you can connect all third-party tools that allow you to create an HTML registration form. Experience has shown that the interface can be used to connect the following third-party tools, among others: 

  • AG Webservice Mailresponder
  • arpReach
  • Campaign Monitor
  • Drip
    • You can find the HTML form code in the “Forms” menu for the respective form under the “Design” tab in the “Embedded” section
  • ConstantContact
    • You can find the HTML form code in the “List Growth Tools” menu by clicking on the ‘Actions’ button next to the form and then selecting “Embed Code.” 
  • Inwise
  • Mailigen
    • When creating a form, select “Create HTML Embed Form” to create an HTML form. 
    • The registration form includes a default query asking whether emails should be sent in text or HTML format. Webinaris cannot fill this in. Therefore, you must insert the term “checked” directly into the code in the corresponding section, depending on whether you always want to send text or HTML emails.

    • Only use the code from the lower window as the embed code, starting with “<style type...”

    • When creating the form, be sure to uncheck the “Add captcha” checkbox.
    • When selecting the form code, please use the option “Simplified integrated HTML code that must be copied into your website.”
  • Superwebmailer

It is highly likely that the following providers can also be connected via the HTML universal interface. Please contact info@webinaris.com to arrange a joint appointment to initially test the connection.

    • Please contact your Empaction representative to obtain usable HTML form code.
  • iContact
    • You can find the HTML form code in the editor of your form in the “Code View” section.
    • Important: The captcha check must be disabled.
  • Imnicamail
    • You can find the HTML form code in the “HTML code” section of your registration form.
  • Ontraport
    • You can find the HTML form code for your form by clicking on the “Publish form” button. There you can select the “HTML Version (For Geeks)” section to retrieve the HTML form code.
  • Power Lead System
  • Rapidmail
    • You can find the HTML form code in the menu “Forms” -> “Installation help” at the very bottom, keyword “Direct installation with HTML code (for experts only)”.
  • Salesforce
    • Please contact your Salesforce consultant to implement the interface connection.
  • Sendpulse
    • Create a form of type “Embedded” in the “Subscription forms” menu.
  • SendReach
  • SugarCRM
    • Please contact your SugarCRM consultant to implement the interface connection.

II) Setup for Webinaris
With the HTML universal interface, you can enter HTML registration forms in Webinaris that are automatically filled out and sent in the background at specific times and according to specific criteria. For example, when a participant registers, you can immediately transfer their contact details to Drip or send a reminder text message via Klick-Tipp 15 minutes before the webinar starts. In addition, third-party tools often offer the following options when a specific registration form is filled out:
 
  • Starting a double opt-in process
  • Adding to contact lists
  • Adding to target groups
  • Sending emails
  • Sending SMS messages
  • Sending an informational email
  • Adding to a list
  • Adding to a campaign
  • Adding to an automation
  • Adding a TAG
  • Removing a TAG
 

The setup for Webinaris is always the same; only the content to be entered differs. You can easily and conveniently configure exactly what should happen in the third-party tool directly in your third-party tool.

Proceed as follows to set up the HTML universal interface:

 
1. Open the Expert Settings menu in your webinar project - “Interfaces”
 
2. Click on “+ Add plugin”

3. Select the “HTML Universal Plugin” and click Continue.
 
4. To send a call, click on “New form call.”

 
5. Select from the drop-down menu when the data transfer should take place and from which persons the data should be transferd.
 
6. Click on the blue “New form” button to create the HTML form.
 
7. Enter a short description for the form under “Name.”
 
8. Enter the HTML code for the form under “Form Code.” It looks something like this:

9. Click on the “New parameter” button under “Form fields” to add parameters to your call.

 
Enter the field name of the parameter in the left column. You can find this in the form code under the entry name="" (marked in red in the screenshot below).

Enter the content that Webinaris should write in this form field in the right-hand column. You can use one of the available placeholders or enter a value yourself.

Once completed, it will look something like this:

 
 
10. Click on the “Save” button at the bottom right to temporarily save the changes.
 
11. Click on the “Save” button in the top right corner to finally save the settings.
 
12. Repeat steps 4-11 for each additional form action.
 
III) Important note
For the interface to work, no captcha check may be activated in the HTML form (this is common in many registration forms to prevent bots from registering instead of humans).
